Casa de los Niños Crisis Center
GLHN Architects & Engineers, Inc. is currently developing
an overall physical and utilities master plan for Casa de los
Niños - the pre-eminent, non-profit assisting at-risk children
in Tucson. This 24/7 facility offers a Crisis Center and numerous
support services for children and their families. The project
entails a comprehensive inventory and assessment of the seven
buildings of the existing campus, followed by a critical analysis
of the overall organization, its mission, and its present and
future physical needs.
A detailed three dimensional model of the existing block-wide campus
was developed to assist in this effort and to serve as a resource
for design and investigation. All efforts and products were donated
by GLHN as part of its continuing commitment to Tucson and its children. |
